JEO is pleased to announce that Tim Adams, PE, has been promoted from Director of Operations to Chief Operations Officer (COO). 

In his new role, Tim will provide firmwide leadership and oversight of JEO’s technical operations, aligning operations with people development, business development, and the firm’s strategic goals. He will work closely with firm leadership, technical departments, and shared services teams to improve consistency, efficiency, and quality across the organization. 

“Tim knows JEO inside and out—our people, our processes, and what it takes to deliver exceptional results,” said President Jeff Henson. “His experience and insight will be invaluable as he focuses on building an operations team that supports our people and how work gets done across the firm.” 

Tim joined JEO in 2008 and, over the course of his 17-year career with the firm, has never shied away from a challenge. As a former Department Leader and Director of Operations, he is known as a strategic thinker with a passion for developing people, solving complex problems, and building strong, collaborative teams. 

“As COO, I’m excited to focus on strengthening how we work together across the firm—aligning our people, processes, and systems so our teams can do their best work,” said Adams. “My goal is to provide operational guidance and build consistency within our technical teams while continuing to invest in our people and delivering exceptional value to our clients.”
