The Long Pine Creek Watershed Water Quality Management Plan

This water quality management plan was prepared to guide the Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District in developing and implementing future projects to improve water quality and aquatic resources in the Long Pine Creek Watershed. The plan may also serve as a basis for seeking financial support for those projects. It has been written with guidance published in EPA’s “Handbook for Developing Watershed Plans to Restore and Protect Our Waters,” updated March 2008, including EPA’s Nine-Elements of a Successful Watershed Plan, utilizing a Community Based Approach, as discussed in NDEQ’s “Watershed Management Planning Guidebook for Communities.”
