Senior Environmental Scientist Joined JEO
We are excited to announce that Jason Morovitz started October 24th in the Lincoln, Nebraska office. Jason has a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University. Jason has over 16 years of experience specializing in wetland delineations, Section 404 permitting, protected species assessments, project management, and NEPA document preparation for the energy industry, land development, private entities, federal and state agencies, local governments, and departments of transportation. Work areas include the western, south-central and mid-western portions of the United States. Prior to JEO, Jason worked as an Environmental Scientist in South Dakota. He also has experience with other engineering firms.
Jason and his wife, Kea, have a 4-year-old son named Porter. Jason enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, cycling, sight-seeing, skiing, and traveling. Welcome Jason!
JEO is pleased to announce the addition of Lynn Dittmer to our planning department. Lynn started October 31st in the Omaha, Nebraska office. Lynn has a bachelor’s degree in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University. She has over 13 years of planning experience in Iowa and Nebraska, and was most recently the Community and Economic Development Manager for an agency in Omaha. Lynn’s experience includes developing economic plans, coordinating and leading local and regional meetings and workshops, implementing strategic plans, and creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients.
Lynn and her husband, Weston, have two girls, Reese (6) and Vivian (3). They also have a 14-year-old lab, Abby, and a 2-year-old fuzzy cat, Oscar. In their free time, the Dittmers farm near Minden, Iowa. They also enjoy traveling, cooking, baking, and DIY projects. Welcome Lynn!
