Eric Olson is welcomed back to JEO as a senior design technician in the water resources engineering department. Olson has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design. He worked for JEO from 2001 to 2006, and JEO is excited about his return. His experience includes using Autodesk Civil 3D, Microstation, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD. Prior to returning to JEO, he was responsible for CAD production, training, and quality assurance.

Olson began his schooling in mechanical engineering at Walla Walla College before continuing to ITT Technical Institute, where he earned an associate’s of science degree in CAD/drafting. He has been a certified drafter since April 1995 and is a member of the American Design and Drafting Association (ADDA). Olson will work out of JEO’s Lincoln office.

Landon Mattison joins JEO’s client development team as a multimedia specialist. He has knowledge of brand strategies, content creation, social media, and the Adobe Creative Suite. He also has videography experience, creating video content that was used for television, social media, and advertising campaigns.

Mattison holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL). While at UNL, Mattison was a member of the Jacht Ad Club for two semesters, during which he was head of video and videography for their projects. Through the club, he received awards for being the director of digital media advertising and television single. He will work out of JEO’s Lincoln office.

Quinn Texmo joins JEO to work on overall business development for the company, as well as with JEO’s public facilitation services. She has over seven years of experience in marketing and public involvement. Her experience includes development of presentations and interviews, client-focused event planning, development of training programs for technical staff, and management of a company-wide proposal database system for multiple districts and offices.

Texmo holds a bachelor’s of science degree in journalism, with an emphasis in advertising and public relations, and a minor in speech communication from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She also holds a master’s of arts in communications, with an emphasis in organizational communication, and a research focus in leadership, gender, generations, training, and development. Texmo is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, where she serves as the chapter president. She is also the chapter president for Commercial Real Estate Women. She will work out of JEO’s Omaha office.

Patrick Barber joins JEO’s survey department as a crew chief. With more than 10 years of experience as a survey crew chief, Barber’s experience includes construction staking, preliminary topographic surveys, and boundary surveys, amongst other various survey tasks. He will work out of JEO’s Ankeny, IA office.
