NEBRASKA CITY, NEBRASKA – Scott Hrabik recently joined JEO Consulting Group, Inc. as a project engineer in the transportation department. Hrabik has experience working with the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR). This experience specifically involved producing project plans for interstate, county road, and institutional road reconstruction. He is also proficient in using MicroStation and Geopak.

“We are very excited to be able to add Scott to our Nebraska City office. His work as an intern for the NDOR roadway design department allows him to be easily integrated into our department,” Tom Kellogg, transportation department manager, said about Hrabik.

Hrabik started at JEO on March 9, 2015 and has already become heavily involved in several projects. He will be helping on designs for streets and highways, while also assisting with inspection services.

“It’s great to be a part of a company that values its employees, as well as their families,” Hrabik said. ”With the vast experience and knowledge throughout the company, I see unlimited potential for my professional growth.”

Prior to joining JEO, Hrabik worked as a design engineer in the private sector. He also worked as a student for NDOR for three years, serving five of those months as a highway plans and specifications reviewer.

Hrabik holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He also holds an NDOR certification in erosion control and IDOT certifications in erosion control, PCC Level I, HMA sampler, and Aggregate Level I and II.
