Steve Arens, PE, SE, recently earned his structural engineering license in Nebraska. Arens is a senior engineer in the transportation department in JEO’s Lincoln office. He currently holds a professional engineering license in both Nebraska and Iowa, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Arens has been with JEO since August 2014, with more than eight years of previous engineering experience.
Josh Borchers, LS, earned his professional land surveyor license in Nebraska. Starting at JEO in 1998, Borchers is a survey crew chief in JEO’s Wahoo office. He holds an associate’s of applied science in survey CAD from Southeast Community College – Milford. Borchers is a member of the Professional Surveyors Association of Nebraska and the National Utility Contractors Association of Nebraska.
Ryan O’Toole, LS, also earned his professional land surveyor license in Nebraska. O’Toole is a surveyor in JEO’s Omaha office. He holds an associate’s of applied science in surveying and AutoCAD from Southeast Community College – Milford. O’Toole has been working for JEO since 2009, with more than nine years of previous surveying experience.
Josh Grummert, SIT, has recently become a surveyor-in-training in Nebraska. Grummert is a survey technician in JEO’s Hastings office. He’s currently attending Central Community College – Hastings for a business administration degree. Grummert has been with JEO since 2008, with more than eight years of previous survey experience.
Shelley Schulte, GISP, recently received her certificate as a GIS Professional. Schulte is a GIS specialist in the water resources engineering department in JEO’s Lincoln office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology/climatology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Schulte has been with JEO since 2012 and has six years of previous GIS experience. She is also a board member of the Nebraska GIS/LIS Association.
