OMAHA, NEBRASKA – Steve Wolf recently joined JEO Consulting Group, Inc. as a senior facilitator and public involvement strategist. With 34 years of issues management and public affairs experience, Wolf has been involved with successfully leading the public involvement and multi-party facilitation efforts for a number of high profile initiatives across Nebraska and throughout the nation. His experience has involved public and stakeholder outreach meetings, communication training, online surveys, and development of public information materials.
“Steve’s vast experience and expertise will bring benefit to all the departments within JEO and to our client base. As a senior facilitator, he will bring value to many of our existing contracts and future pursuits that require this type of expertise,” Eric Obert, Chief Operating Officer at JEO, said about Wolf. “I am very excited to have Steve at JEO, and am eager for the future development of this new service we bring our clients.”
Wolf started at JEO on December 8, 2014 and has already become heavily involved throughout the company. As a senior facilitator and public involvement strategist, he will focus on community outreach in support of projects across all departments; project, client, and stakeholder facilitation support; in-house communication support; and many other activities.

Prior to joining JEO, Wolf was co-founder of Issues Management Solutions, LLC. He has served on the U.S. Department of Defense Environmental Public Affairs Policy Advisory Board, is former chief of environmental public affairs for the National Guard Bureau, and has been director of both community relations and planning for the U.S. Strategic Command.
Wolf holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. He is a registered advanced risk communication professional.
