OMAHA, NEBRASKA – Jay Fallick, PE, recently joined JEO Consulting Group, Inc. as a project engineer in the transportation department. Bringing 13 years of experience to JEO, Fallick offers invaluable transportation and land development knowledge with considerable experience working directly with Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) and working on federally aided projects.
Since joining JEO, Fallick says, “I have enjoyed working at JEO. The learning culture at JEO has yielded a talented and dynamic staff, and it is an honor to be part of such a great team.”
Fallick’s main responsibility as a project engineer is design, which is imperative to the timely and accurate completion of projects.
Having started with JEO in November 2013, Fallick has already been involved in several projects. He has been the lead designer for two NDOR projects, Greeley South and Plymouth to Beatrice; Lincoln Road from 117th to 114th Streets in Sarpy County, Neb.; and Farnam Street one-way conversion from 36th to 42nd Streets in Omaha, Neb.
“Jay is one of the most conscientious engineers I know. He does a great job of thinking things through to ensure all the bases are covered,” said Eric Dixon, senior project manager of JEO’s transportation department.
Before joining JEO, Fallick was a senior project engineer at Kirkham Michael where he worked heavily with the City of Lincoln, Douglas and Sarpy Counties, and NDOR.
Fallick holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in agricultural and biosystems engineering from Iowa State University. He is a registered professional engineer in Nebraska.
