Tom Kellogg became the transportation department Project Manager in the Lincoln, Nebraska office on July 23, 2012 and brought with him 34 years of experience in the civil engineering field. He has worked in quite a few different states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and South Dakota. His previous experience as a project manager has enabled him a smooth transition into his role within JEO’s transportation department.
In Tom’s spare time, he likes to root for the Huskers in football, basketball and baseball, as well as enjoying some games of poker, golf and pool. He previously enjoyed playing softball until an injury forced him “into early retirement.”
Tom said his favorite part about working at JEO is the variety he gets to experience in his line of work. When there are multiple projects going on and different ways of completing these, no two projects end up being exactly alike which makes for an exciting workload and a call for uniqueness.
Tom has been busy meeting with staff and clients, and learning the ropes of being a Project Manager at JEO. With this new experience and integration into his role at JEO, Tom said it best, “Our Transportation Department has some great people to work with. I am looking forward to working with them and others at JEO in 2013 and beyond.”
