Summertime Splash

It was one hot summer! That heat could only mean one thing; summertime swimming.

With the temperatures soaring sky high this past summer, the JEO Recreation and Aquatic Department was hard at work, doing their part in making sure kids were able to stay cool. Arlington, Axtell, Broken Bow and Genoa, Nebraska all celebrated the openings of their new pools in 2012, with ribbon cutting events.

“Seeing your hard work pay off is very rewarding.”
All four of the pools mentioned are unique. Some of the differing components include play features, zero depth entry, lap lanes, diving boards, new bathhouses and splash pads where kids can “splash” around without having to be in the pool itself.

Since we know how well swimming and summer go hand in hand, pools are a great design project for our Recreation and Aquatic Department to show their expertise while having fun doing it. Check out our Recreation and Aquatic page to learn more about other services they provide.
